The BBC Has disclosed that Bargain Hunt will undergo significant changes as part of an important revamp for shows following a substantial declaration made via social media.
The official X account of Bargain Hunt announced that David Fergus and Serhat Ahmet have been added to the team as the show’s newest experts.
Serhat, an experienced ceramics specialist with more than three decades in the antique business, deals in porcelains from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries—making him a valuable asset to the show.
The message stated: "We're thrilled to extend a big welcome to one of our newest exceptional experts—meet @SerhatAntiques! We're excited to have you join the #BBCBargainHunt team, Serhat."
Watch Serhat's debut episode on Monday, April 14th, as he shops with his blue squad in Exeter.
Sharing a video of Serhat, he introduced himself to his fans saying, "I am Serhat Ahmet. I come from London And I specialize in European ceramics.

I'm truly thrilled to join the Bargain Hunt expert team. It’s such an honor. Such a privilege!
The other beginner, Dave, isn't new to the TV scene since he once co-hosted "Cash In The Attic" alongside Jules Hudson.
He is categorized as both an auctioneer and a valuation specialist for studio glass.
In another posting, they highlighted Dave's thrilling announcement with the label: 'Kindly extend a warm welcome to our additional new specialist on #BBCBargainHunt.'
'It's @1davefergus! On #Bank Holiday Monday, April 21st, you can tune in to see David host his inaugural show where he leads his blue team through King's Lynn.'
In the segment, he mentioned: "I am an auctioneer and appraiser specializing in glass collections from Staffordshire."
I am thoroughly pleased to have been invited to become part of the Bargain Hunt team as one of the new experts.
The popular show, where teams purchase goods with the aim of reselling them for profit, made its debut on television in the year 2000.

The pair will be part of a group consisting of 19 additional specialists.
Among them are Ben Cooper, Catherine Southon, Charles Hanson, Colin Young, and Irita Marriott.
Izzie Balmer, John Cameron, Jonathan Pratt, Kate Bliss, and Mark Stacey join as expert contributors on the show.
Nick Hall, Ochuko Ojiri, Philip Serrell, Raj Bisram, Richard Madley, Stephanie Connell, Thomas Forrester, and Tim Weeks will also be welcoming the newcomers to the program.
Bargain Hunt has aired more than 1875 episodes spanning 70 seasons.
David Dickinson hosted the program from 2000 to 2004.
Tim Wonnacott led the show from 2003 to 2016.
In the last eight years, the series has been hosted by a team of experts instead.
This follows a revelation from a volunteer on the show who exposed an obstacle not visible during the program that turns out to be a NIGHTMARE behind the scenes.
In the initial segment of the program, there are usually heated discussions and rapid exchanges between the participants and antique vendors. This occurs as contestants strive for an early lead by purchasing up to three objects within a budget cap of £300.
Everything isn't as straightforward as it appears, though; the volunteer elucidates the nightmarish challenge during filming that makes this part of the scene feel drawn out.
They stated: "There was an allotted hour during which a runner used a stopwatch to monitor progress. The clock was halted whenever retakes were needed or when we interacted with the production team."
Bartering indeed took place, yet much of the time involved the crew engaging with vendors who either consented or declined being filmed.
'A few of them were not comfortable with having their belongings filmed, so we couldn't purchase those items.'
Bargain Hunt is broadcast on BBC.
