Shopee Singapore has introduced the Shopee Majulah Club to assist seniors in saving money and shopping online.
Launched during the SG60 festivities, this program offers individuals in Singapore who are 50 years old and older special benefits, brand promotions, and assistance with digital skills to simplify and reduce costs associated with online shopping.
Seniors who qualify can sign up simply by entering their date of birth within the Shopee application. After verification, these members will enjoy a 20% cashback without needing to meet any spending threshold. They’ll also benefit from special offers such as discounted items at popular stores including Shopee Supermarket, Guardian, and New Moon, along with exclusive deals on products priced $6 or less and those costing $60 or below. Additionally, all enrolled individuals automatically advance to Gold Tier status in the Shopee Loyalty Program, which includes benefits like free next-day delivery vouchers.
Shopee experienced a 10% growth in users who are 50 years old and older from 2023 to 2024.
